CONSENTIS is a forward-thinking initiative addressing the pressing challenges of personal data sharing within the framework of EU regulations and strategic initiatives such as eIDAS, EU Data Spaces, and GDPR. The project introduces a comprehensive, user-centric framework that ensures individuals maintain full control over the collection and utilization of their personal data. Through its Self-Sovereign Identity (SSI) and innovative consent management solutions, CONSENTIS empowers users to provide informed consent via intuitive interfaces and real-time notifications. Its design is adaptable to existing systems and assures compliance with legal standards, bolstered by continuous evaluations of security, risks, and regulatory factors.
This industry-oriented effort is driven by a diverse consortium encompassing 13 organizations across 10 EU member states and associated countries. The team includes academic institutions, SMEs, and large corporations, collectively committed to advancing state-of-the-art developments in cybersecurity, identity management, privacy-enhancing technologies (PETs), and compliance with EU laws.
